Binance Futures has added Coca-Cola (KO) and Reddit (RDDT) to its lineup of USDⓈ-margined TradFi perpetual contracts, letting users trade exposure to the two stocks around the clock with up to 20x leverage. The exchange announced the listing directly on its account, describing the new contracts as available 24/7 alongside its existing crypto derivatives.

The addition continues a build-out Binance has been running through the second half of 2026, layering equity and ETF exposure onto its futures platform rather than launching a separate product. Earlier rounds of the same rollout added contracts tied to U.S. Treasury bond ETFs and the ProShares Bitcoin ETF, and Binance has separately flagged upcoming TradFi equity perpetuals covering names like SK Hynix, GE Vernova, Vertiv and Snowflake.

Part of a much bigger shift

The Coca-Cola and Reddit listings land inside a trend that has scaled unusually fast this year. Crypto exchanges processed $1.32 trillion in perpetual futures tied to traditional assets during just the first five months of 2026 — compared with $104.21 billion for the whole of 2025. Binance alone has now pushed past 140 TradFi assets available as perpetuals, spanning tech, financial and healthcare names, as it works toward what industry participants are increasingly calling an “everything exchange” model that combines crypto, equities and derivatives inside a single account.

Why leverage on single stocks matters

Trading Coca-Cola or Reddit as a perpetual future is a meaningfully different product than owning the underlying share. Perpetuals carry no expiry, settle continuously against a funding rate rather than a fixed date, and — with 20x leverage available — can amplify both gains and losses far beyond what a traditional equity position would produce. That structure is what has made perpetuals the default trading instrument in crypto, and exchanges are now betting the same appeal will pull traditional-market flow onto crypto rails rather than the other way around.

Where this leaves traditional brokers

For now, the TradFi perps race is concentrated among crypto-native platforms rather than legacy brokerages, and Binance's willingness to keep adding household names — a beverage company and a social media platform, rather than obscure small caps — suggests the exchange is betting on brand recognition to pull in traders who might not otherwise touch a derivatives product. Whether regulators in major markets allow that access to expand much further remains the open question hanging over the entire category.
