Binance has completed integration of Momentum (MMT) on the BNB Smart Chain under the BEP20 standard, opening deposits and withdrawals for the token on the network. The move gives holders an additional chain to move MMT across, alongside its native environment on Sui.
Momentum is a decentralized finance hub built on the Sui blockchain, designed to unify liquidity, trading and yield strategies within a single high-performance ecosystem. The protocol runs on an AI-enhanced automated market maker paired with a ve(3,3) tokenomics model, a design intended to encourage sustainable liquidity growth and more efficient capital use than standard AMM structures.
A Token Binance Has Already Backed
This isn't Binance's first touchpoint with MMT. The exchange originally listed the token on November 4, 2025, with trading pairs against USDT, USDC, BNB and TRY. Around that listing, Binance also ran an MMT HODLer Airdrop, distributing 7.5 million MMT tokens — about 0.75% of the project's genesis supply — to eligible BNB holders, a distribution mechanism NFT Evening reported was tied directly to the token's Binance debut.
Why Multi-Chain Support Matters
Adding BEP20 support doesn't change what Momentum does, but it does lower the friction for BNB Chain users who want exposure to the protocol without bridging assets from Sui manually. For a DeFi-focused token built around unifying liquidity across venues, expanding its own reach across chains follows the same logic — more direct rails between ecosystems tend to translate into deeper, more usable liquidity for the token itself, echoing the same liquidity-depth dynamics that have constrained other emerging DeFi assets trying to scale beyond a single chain.
