Binance has extended its ongoing USD1 Airdrop Campaign, continuing a promotional distribution program built around World Liberty Financial's dollar-pegged stablecoin. The exchange announced the extension without detailing a new end date in its post, pointing users to the full terms on its announcements page.
USD1 is issued by World Liberty Financial, the crypto venture tied to the Trump family, and is backed by U.S. Treasuries, cash and other dollar-denominated equivalents, with BitGo serving as custodian. Binance has used a series of promotional campaigns this year to drive adoption of the stablecoin among its user base.
A Pattern of Recurring Campaigns
This is not Binance's first USD1-linked promotion. Stablecoin Insider reported that Binance launched a 135 million WLFI token airdrop for USD1 stablecoin holders starting March 20, 2026, structured as weekly distributions every Friday through April 17. That followed an earlier four-week, $40 million WLFI airdrop that ran through February 20, 2026. Together, the campaigns represent one of the larger sustained promotional efforts by a major exchange behind a single stablecoin this year.
Where USD1 Started
The stablecoin's own distribution history traces back to a World Liberty Financial governance vote, where token holders approved a proposal with 99.96% support to airdrop a fixed 47 USD1 — a symbolic nod to Donald Trump as the 47th U.S. president — to every wallet holding the project's WLFI governance token, regardless of balance size, on the Ethereum network.

Why Exchanges Keep Running These Campaigns
For Binance, repeatedly extending and layering promotional campaigns around USD1 serves a straightforward purpose: driving trading volume and holder engagement with a stablecoin that competes directly with far more established dollar-pegged tokens. Whether the extension meaningfully grows USD1's circulation beyond its existing WLFI-holder base, or simply re-engages the same users who already claimed earlier rounds, will depend on the specific terms Binance has yet to disclose in full.
