Binance Futures is adding a new TradFi perpetual contract on ZhongJi Innolight, a Chinese manufacturer of optical transceivers used in data center and AI networking infrastructure, giving traders round-the-clock exposure to the stock with leverage of up to 20x once it goes live.
The listing extends Binance's TradFi Futures line, which lets users trade price exposure to individual equities through crypto-native perpetual contracts rather than holding the underlying shares. Unlike a traditional equity position confined to exchange hours, the perpetual trades 24/7, a structural difference that changes how the position behaves around overnight news and earnings releases compared to the underlying stock itself.
Why ZhongJi Innolight
ZhongJi Innolight is one of the world's largest suppliers of optical modules, components that convert electrical signals into light for high-speed data transmission inside AI data centers. Demand for these components has risen alongside the broader buildout of AI computing infrastructure, making optical networking suppliers a closely watched segment of the AI trade even though they sit further down the supply chain than the chipmakers that typically dominate headlines.
Adding a name like ZhongJi Innolight to a leveraged perpetual product gives crypto-native traders a way to take a position on AI infrastructure demand without opening a separate brokerage account for Chinese or Hong Kong-listed equities, which often carry additional access restrictions for international retail traders.

Leverage Cuts Both Ways
At up to 20x leverage, the contract carries substantially more liquidation risk than a cash equity position in the same stock, and Binance's announcement did not detail margin requirements, funding rate mechanics, or the specific launch date beyond describing the listing as “coming soon.” Traders considering the product will need to account for funding payments that accrue over time on a perpetual contract, a cost that doesn't apply to holding shares outright.
The listing adds to a broader wave of stock-linked perpetuals crypto exchanges have rolled out this year, a category that has expanded rapidly as platforms compete to offer diversified leveraged products beyond crypto-native tokens, following a similar push from rival exchange Bitrue into defense, chip and energy stock perpetuals.
