Binance has opened a new wave of its Spot Altcoin Trading Festival centered on PLUME, the native token of the Plume Network, offering participants a share of up to 500 BNB in token vouchers. The tournament is the latest in a recurring series of Binance spot trading competitions that rotate through individual altcoins, rewarding users based on trading volume during the promotional window.

Plume Network is a Layer 1, EVM-compatible blockchain built specifically for tokenizing real-world assets and bringing them into DeFi, letting instruments such as private credit, funds and commodity exposure be issued onchain and used within DeFi strategies. The network has drawn a notable list of institutional partners since its mainnet launch, including WisdomTree, Apollo Global and Invesco.

Institutional Backing Behind the Token

Plume's traction with traditional finance has been a central part of its pitch. Plume's own network documentation details how the project became one of the first blockchain-native entities registered by the SEC as a transfer agent, allowing it to legally manage shareholder records, process ownership changes and report cap tables directly to the SEC and DTCC — a regulatory foothold few competing RWA platforms currently hold. WisdomTree has launched more than a dozen tokenized funds on the network, while Apollo Global has deployed tens of millions of dollars in private credit through Plume-linked infrastructure.

How the Tournament Works

Binance's altcoin festival format typically ranks participants by spot trading volume in the featured pair over the promotional period, with the token voucher pool distributed across top performers and, in many past waves, a randomized pool for smaller-volume participants. Traders looking to take part can find the full terms and eligibility rules on Binance's trading competition page.
