Binance says its bStocks tokenized equities product has processed $565.9 million in trading volume in the seven weeks since launch, with the exchange framing the figure as evidence that tokenized stocks are finding real demand beyond crypto-native traders. According to Binance, more than 90% of bStocks users come from emerging markets, 44% are Gen Z, and for many it's their first brokerage account of any kind.

bStocks went live June 11, 2026 as fully-backed, 1:1 tokenized securities issued by BTech Holdings Limited, a Binance group affiliate. The product launched with five tickers — Circle Internet Group, Micron Technology, NVIDIA, SanDisk and Tesla — and has since expanded to more than 46 listings. Eligible users can trade the tokens 24/7, self-custody them through BNB Chain-compatible wallets, and use them across supported DeFi applications.

A Fast Climb in Assets

The pace of growth has been steep. Binance disclosed bStocks had already surpassed $500 million in assets under management by July 29, roughly seven weeks after launch, and cumulative volume across the product has reached $8.7 billion, with 72% of that activity executed on-chain rather than through traditional order routing. The broader tokenized-equities category has grown alongside it: volumes across the sector surged 4.4x to $18.2 billion in July 2026, with bStocks capturing an estimated 27% of global tokenized-stock market cap within weeks of going live.

Part of a Broader Race Into Tokenized Equities

Binance isn't alone in chasing this audience. Coinbase this week switched on commission-free US stock trading for UK customers, and framed the move as part of building an “everything exchange” that houses equities and crypto in one app — the same underlying bet Binance is making with bStocks, just approached from the regulated-brokerage side rather than the tokenized-securities side. Both strategies are converging on the same idea: crypto-native apps are becoming the on-ramp through which a new, younger, more globally distributed set of users gets access to US equities for the first time.
