Bitrue has launched perpetual contracts on four tokenized equities: chip designer Arm ($ARM), Vanguard's S&P 500 ETF ($VOO), Airbnb ($ABNB) and Nike ($NKE). The exchange framed the rollout as giving traders exposure across AI infrastructure, US equities broadly, travel and consumer brands through a single perpetuals interface, without needing separate brokerage access to each underlying market.
The four contracts went live simultaneously, following an initial announcement earlier the same day that previewed the listing before Bitrue confirmed the perpetuals were trading.
What each contract represents
$ARM tracks Arm Holdings, the chip architecture licensor whose designs underpin a large share of smartphone and AI accelerator processors. $VOO mirrors Vanguard's S&P 500 ETF, giving traders broad index exposure rather than a single-company bet. $ABNB tracks Airbnb, representing the travel and short-term rental sector, while $NKE tracks Nike, a global consumer apparel brand. Bundling a chipmaker, a broad index fund, a travel platform and a consumer brand into one product launch gives traders exposure to several distinct sectors through the same perpetuals infrastructure.
Tokenized stock perpetuals as a growing category
Exchanges have increasingly rolled out perpetual contracts on tokenized versions of major public equities, letting crypto-native traders speculate on stock price movements around the clock rather than only during traditional market hours. Because these are perpetual derivatives rather than direct equity ownership, traders gain price exposure without the settlement and custody requirements of holding actual shares, though that also means the products don't carry shareholder rights like dividends or voting.
Bitrue's launch adds to a broader trend among crypto exchanges positioning tokenized stock derivatives as a way to diversify trading volume beyond crypto-native assets, competing for the same traders that traditional brokerages and other exchanges' tokenized-stock products are also targeting.
