Bitrue went live with perpetual futures trading for two tokens on August 14: NESA, the native token of a decentralized AI inference network, and MOMOTA, both offered with up to 20x leverage on the exchange's futures platform. Trading for MOMOTA/USDT opened at 12:00 UTC, with the NESA/USDT pair following shortly after.

Bitrue had teased the NESA listing hours earlier, framing the project around its focus on verifiability, privacy and open access for AI inference — the computational process of running a trained AI model to generate outputs.

What NESA Is Building

Nesa is a privacy-first layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for decentralized AI, according to the project's own documentation. Its mainnet launched May 9, 2026 with 1 billion NES tokens created at genesis, and the token was picked up by Binance Alpha on June 24. The network lets users pay AI inference queries in stablecoins, which the protocol automatically converts to NES for settlement, while the token also secures the network through validator and miner staking and carries governance rights. The project's founding team includes Marco Di Maggio, director of the Harvard Crypto & Web3 Lab and a former Harvard Business School professor, lending it more institutional pedigree than the typical new futures listing.

A Routine Listing Cycle

MOMOTA's listing carries far less public documentation by comparison, consistent with the fast-moving cycle of new perpetual contracts exchanges add on a near-weekly basis to capture early trading volume. Bitrue's decision to launch both pairs on the same day, each with maximum leverage available immediately, reflects the standard playbook exchanges use to court traders looking for exposure to freshly listed tokens before liquidity and volatility settle.
