Bitrue has added perpetual futures contracts on PayPal ($PYPLUSDT) and GigaDevice ($GIGADEVUSDT), letting users trade both tokenized stocks with leverage of up to 20x on its BitrueFutures platform. The exchange framed the pairing as bridging two very different growth stories — PayPal's digital-payments business and GigaDevice's semiconductor manufacturing — inside a single new product line.

The timing lines up with PayPal's own results. The payments company beat second-quarter 2026 estimates, posting adjusted earnings of $1.38 per share against a roughly $1.28 consensus, with revenue up 5% year-over-year to $8.68 billion and total payment volume rising 10% to $486.4 billion. PayPal followed that with a raised full-year outlook, now guiding to roughly $5.38 in adjusted earnings per share for 2026, above both its prior guidance and Wall Street's estimates, with transaction margin dollars also revised upward to about $15.6 billion.

Trading a Stock's Earnings Momentum as a Perpetual

Bitrue's listing gives traders a way to take leveraged positions on that earnings strength without holding the underlying equity — part of a broader trend of exchanges wrapping individual stocks into perpetual contracts so crypto-native traders can speculate on corporate earnings the same way they trade any other token. Venmo and Braintree were specific bright spots inside PayPal's results, with Venmo debit card monthly active accounts up more than 50% year-over-year and Braintree's payment volume growing in the mid-teens, both of which fed into the earnings beat that Bitrue is now referencing as the rationale for the listing.

A Growing Category

Tokenized and derivative stock products have become one of the more active fronts in exchange competition this year, with platforms racing to list familiar equities alongside crypto pairs to capture traders who want exposure to both markets from one account. For Bitrue, pairing a high-profile fintech name like PayPal with a semiconductor supplier like GigaDevice signals an intent to build out a broader stock-perpetuals shelf rather than a one-off listing.
