On-chain analytics platform Bubblemaps has flagged a striking pattern around CASHCAT, the memecoin native to Robinhood Chain: a cluster of freshly created wallets bought millions of dollars worth of the token, and the token was listed on Robinhood two days later, leaving those early buyers up roughly $3 million on paper. Blockchain trackers routinely watch for this kind of timing, since well-funded wallets appearing shortly before a major listing event is the kind of pattern that draws scrutiny even when it later proves coincidental.

The activity extends beyond the wallets Bubblemaps identified. On-chain analytics firm Lookonchain separately tracked a trader who spent $791,000 to buy 13.14 million CASHCAT tokens — a position now worth roughly $1.75 million, a gain of about $956,000. Another wallet spent 519 ETH, worth roughly $985,000, to buy 9.96 million CASHCAT just twelve hours before that update.

A Volatile Ride Since Launch

CASHCAT's price action since its Robinhood Chain debut has been extreme even by memecoin standards. The Robinhood listing itself sent the token up 151%, running from roughly $0.0853 to $0.2143 within 15 hours of the announcement — the token takes its name from a name Robinhood had reportedly considered and rejected for its own branding. It later hit a market capitalization near $200 million during a rally researchers clocked at roughly 4,000%, before pulling back around 60% from that peak. As of early August, CASHCAT was trading between $0.08 and $0.09 with a market cap in the $85–90 million range.

Concentrated in a Few Hands

Ownership of the token remains heavily concentrated. Research from Arkham Intelligence found the top 1,000 addresses control 89.1% of CASHCAT's circulating supply, worth more than $40 million. Notable names have also surfaced among the buyers: a wallet linked to trader Ansem reportedly moved $233,000 into the token. CASHCAT has separately gone live for spot trading on Bitrue, widening its exchange footprint beyond Robinhood Chain itself. Trading volume has stayed elevated throughout, with the token logging over $40 million in 24-hour volume and more than 43,000 trades across nearly 6,800 unique traders at its activity peak — a level of turnover that underscores just how much speculative interest has piled into the token since launch.
