Solana-based token launchpad Pump.fun sold another 84,789 SOL, worth about $6.25 million, in its latest round of treasury sales, according to on-chain tracker Lookonchain. That brings the platform's cumulative SOL sales to 4,823,325 tokens, worth roughly $807 million, at an average sale price of $167.40.

The sales represent Pump.fun converting a portion of the fee revenue it earns in SOL from token launches, bonding-curve trading, and related launchpad activity into realized proceeds, rather than holding the full amount in its treasury. The platform has followed a similarly steady cadence of large sales throughout the year, with recent tranches including a 122,498 SOL sale worth about $10 million in early July.

The scale behind the sales

Pump.fun's ongoing liquidations are backed by a business that has become the largest single revenue generator on Solana. The platform contributed $124.7 million to Solana's total app revenue of $342.2 million in the first quarter of 2026 alone — 36% of the network's entire app-layer income — and crossed $1 billion in cumulative revenue in March 2026, less than two years after its January 2024 launch. Pump.fun's treasury is reported to exceed $1.3 billion even after its ongoing SOL sales, underscoring how much of its fee income it has retained rather than converted.

A steady overhang on SOL, not a single shock

Because Pump.fun's sales arrive in a recurring drip rather than one large block, they function more as a persistent, well-telegraphed source of sell pressure on SOL than a market-moving surprise. On-chain analysts have periodically flagged the pattern as worth watching precisely because of its consistency — a predictable flow of treasury-driven supply that traders can price in, in contrast to the kind of one-off whale dump that catches a market off guard.
