World Liberty Financial's treasury sent 39 million WLFI tokens, worth roughly $2.19 million, to a Bybit-linked deposit wallet, a move on-chain trackers flagged as a likely precursor to a sale, according to AMBCrypto. Rather than triggering a selloff, WLFI absorbed the flow: the token gained 1.65% over 24 hours and traded near $0.0566, suggesting buy-side demand was deep enough to soak up the transfer without denting the price.

The token has since settled closer to $0.055–$0.056, according to CoinGecko pricing data, with a market capitalization around $1.8 billion — a fraction of the roughly $0.2577 all-time high WLFI touched in September 2025.

Exchange Flows Tell a Mixed Story

Zooming out from the single transfer, exchange flow data over the trailing 24 hours showed $14.76 million in inflows against $13.41 million in outflows, a net inflow of $1.34 million. That net figure already exceeds the entire seven-day net inflow of $1.32 million, pointing to a recent pickup in short-term selling pressure even as the token's price held up.

The picture looks different further out. Over 15 days, net flow to exchanges was negative at $640,480, and over 30 days it deepened to negative $8.16 million — a pattern more consistent with holders accumulating and withdrawing WLFI from exchanges than preparing to dump it. The shift toward positive net inflows in just the past day marks a break from that longer trend.

Derivatives Traders Aren't Panicking

Futures positioning offered another data point. Open interest on WLFI sat near $249 million, with an OI-weighted funding rate of a modestly positive 0.0030% — mild bullish conviction rather than the sharp, negative funding that typically accompanies a market bracing for a dump.

Treasury Moves Are a Recurring Watch Item for WLFI

Large treasury transfers have become a routine flashpoint for World Liberty Financial, the Trump family-linked project, precisely because the market has learned to read them as potential sell signals rather than dismiss them outright. That the token shrugged off a $2.19 million transfer this time doesn't erase the broader 30-day trend of tokens flowing toward exchanges, and traders will likely keep watching the treasury's wallet activity closely as WLFI works to build a durable price floor well below its 2025 highs.
