Binance Futures has rolled out a new feature called Smart Money Signal Copy, letting traders who publish signals earn a share of the profits generated by users who copy those trades, according to a post from the exchange's official account.

The exchange describes the setup as requiring no change to a trader's own futures activity: once enabled, a trader's existing positions can be mirrored by copiers while the original trader continues trading as usual.

How the revenue split works

According to Binance Futures, traders who enable the feature and attract copiers can earn a 30% profit share plus a 10% fee rebate generated from the trades those copiers execute. Binance frames the addition as a way for active futures traders to build a secondary income stream simply by growing a following of copiers, without altering their own trading strategy.

What it means for traders

The feature is opt-in: traders enable it by toggling on "Signal Copy" within their Binance Futures account settings. For the trader publishing signals, the incentive scales with the number of copiers they attract, since both the profit share and rebate are calculated per copier rather than as a flat fee. For copiers, the arrangement effectively lets them piggyback on another trader's futures strategy while that trader is compensated out of the profits generated on their behalf.

Binance did not specify an end date for the feature in its announcement, suggesting Smart Money Signal Copy is being positioned as a standing product feature rather than a limited-time promotion.
