Bitrue has added two new tokenized stock perpetual contracts to its futures platform, giving traders leveraged exposure to PayPal and GigaDevice Semiconductor without holding the underlying shares. The PYPLUSDT and GIGADEVUSDT pairs went live on BitrueFutures, with the exchange offering leverage of up to 20x on both markets.

The listing pairs a payments giant with a semiconductor manufacturer, giving traders exposure to two very different corners of the market through a single derivatives venue. PayPal remains one of the most widely held names in digital payments, while GigaDevice is a Chinese chipmaker whose flash memory and microcontroller products feed into consumer electronics and industrial hardware supply chains.

Part of a Broader Tokenized Equity Push

The launch continues a trend among crypto exchanges racing to offer synthetic access to public equities without the settlement delays or account restrictions of traditional brokerages. Tokenized stock products have expanded rapidly across trading platforms this year as exchanges compete to capture demand from traders who want single-name equity exposure inside their existing crypto accounts, often with leverage that traditional brokers won't offer retail customers.

For Bitrue, adding named large-cap and mid-cap equities to its futures lineup fits a broader pattern of exchanges diversifying beyond crypto-native pairs. Leveraged tokenized stock perpetuals carry the same liquidation risk as any other derivatives product, amplified by the underlying stock's own volatility, a dynamic traders will need to weigh given the leverage on offer.

What It Means for Traders

Both PYPLUSDT and GIGADEVUSDT are now tradable directly through BitrueFutures alongside the exchange's existing crypto perpetual offerings. The addition gives Bitrue users a way to take directional bets on payments-sector and semiconductor-sector names without leaving the platform, though the leverage involved means positions can move quickly in either direction.
