Bybit officially launched Bybit Galaxy, a new loyalty program, on July 27, 2026 at 10:00 UTC, following a week of teaser posts building up to the rollout under the exchange's "New Financial Platform" campaign.

The program centers on a points system: users earn Bybit Galaxy points through platform activity, which can then be redeemed for rewards. Bybit said the program grants access to eight exclusive products, each described as carrying its own distinct advantages, though the exchange has not detailed all eight publicly.

Restrictions and fine print

Bybit Galaxy is not available to users in the European Economic Area or other restricted regions, and participants must complete identity verification to take part. The exchange also reserved the right to modify event terms, prize amounts, timelines and point-earning mechanisms without notice, and said accounts found engaging in fraudulent behavior, including mass registration, would be automatically disqualified.

Part of a broader loyalty push

The launch follows a pattern among major exchanges of building out points-based loyalty structures to increase user retention, layering rewards on top of core trading products rather than relying solely on fee discounts or one-off promotions. Users who pre-registered before launch were automatically enrolled once the program went live, while new users can still sign up to join.

Bybit has not disclosed how long the Galaxy program will run or whether the point system carries an expiration date.
