Bybit has launched Token Buzz, a new trading competition centered on CXMT perpetual contracts, with a prize pool of $100,000 up for grabs. The contest runs for 14 days and ranks participants by trading volume on the CXMT Perps market, with the exchange framing it as its newest recurring trading-competition format built around a single featured token.
Unlike a fixed-reward giveaway, Bybit says the Token Buzz prize pool grows as the community trades, tying the size of the reward directly to overall participation and volume on the CXMT Perps market over the two-week window. Traders climb the leaderboard purely based on volume, giving the format a straightforward volume-race structure rather than a points or task-based system.
Part of Bybit's Contest Rotation
Token Buzz adds to Bybit's steady cadence of token-specific trading competitions, which the exchange has used to drive volume toward newly listed or featured perpetual contracts. With the contest just underway, the full 14-day window gives traders until early-to-mid August to build up volume before the leaderboard and prize pool are finalized.
