Gate has opened a dedicated Futures Stocks section on its platform, launching with an initial batch of 10 tokenized futures contracts. The lineup includes Yuanjie Technology (YJTECH), Longsys (LONGSYS) and Dongshan Precision (DSBJ) among the first pairs available, each trading against USDT. Trading in the new section began at 5:30 AM UTC on August 6.
Unlike the wave of tokenized-stock listings from other exchanges this week that have focused on well-known US names like Coca-Cola, Shopify and Biogen, Gate's initial roster leans toward Chinese technology and manufacturing companies, giving it a distinct regional focus within the broader tokenized-equity trend.
A Different Regional Bet in a Crowded Category
Longsys and Dongshan Precision are both established names in China's electronics and precision manufacturing supply chains, while Yuanjie Technology represents a smaller, more specialized listing. By opening with 10 contracts weighted toward Chinese equities rather than the US mega-caps most competitors have prioritized, Gate is positioning its Futures Stocks section to appeal specifically to traders seeking exposure to Chinese industrial and tech names that aren't yet widely available as tokenized perpetuals elsewhere.
It also follows Gate's own recent addition of a Kioxia futures contract after the chipmaker's record NAND earnings, another sign the exchange has been steadily building out its Asian-equities futures coverage.

Competing on Regional Coverage, Not Just Ticker Count
The launch adds Gate to the long list of exchanges racing to build out tokenized-equity futures products this year, a category whose combined market capitalization across crypto platforms has grown to roughly $6.6 billion. With a regional angle distinct from rivals' US-stock-heavy rosters, Gate's new section gives it a specific niche to compete on rather than duplicating the same handful of American tickers already listed everywhere else.
