Gate has expanded its Futures Stocks section with an initial listing covering nine tokenized stock futures contracts, including GigaDevice Semiconductor, Zhongji Innolight and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC). Each is available to trade against USDT through the exchange's futures platform.

The three named companies are all major players in the global semiconductor and optical components supply chain: GigaDevice specializes in flash memory and microcontroller chips, Zhongji Innolight is a large producer of optical transceivers used in data center networking, and SMIC is China's largest contract chipmaker.

Betting on Chip Sector Demand

By concentrating this listing batch on semiconductor and chip-adjacent names, Gate is giving crypto-native traders leveraged exposure to a sector that has drawn outsized investor attention amid continued global demand for chips tied to AI infrastructure buildouts. Offering these names as futures rather than simple tokenized spot products lets traders take leveraged long or short positions on companies whose shares are otherwise primarily accessible through mainland Chinese or Hong Kong-listed exchanges for many international traders.

The listing adds to a broader lineup of tokenized equity futures Gate has been rolling out, positioning the exchange to compete for traders looking to combine crypto-native leverage mechanics with exposure to traditional industrial and technology stocks.
