LBank has launched a promotional campaign called the HEMI Token Splash, offering a 10,000 USDT reward pool to users who deposit and trade HEMI on the exchange. The campaign is structured around three separate earning tiers: depositing and trading 50 USDT worth of HEMI on spot markets earns a flat 5 USDT reward, while trading 500 USDT or more of HEMI gives users a share of a 5,000 USDT pool, capped at 100 USDT per user.
HEMI is the native token of Hemi, a modular layer-2 network designed to unify Bitcoin and Ethereum by embedding a full Bitcoin node inside an Ethereum Virtual Machine. The design, known as the Hemi Virtual Machine, lets developers build applications that can read and act on Bitcoin's own chain state using familiar Ethereum-style tooling.
Built to Turn Idle Bitcoin Into Yield
The network's broader pitch is converting otherwise idle Bitcoin holdings into productive, yield-generating collateral usable across DeFi applications, secured by a mechanism called Proof-of-Proof that anchors Hemi's transaction history back to Bitcoin's own blockchain. The HEMI token itself is used to pay network transaction fees, vote on protocol upgrades, and stake toward securing the network's validators.

Part of a Wider Wave of Bitcoin-Ethereum Interoperability Bets
Hemi was co-founded by Jeff Garzik, an early Bitcoin core developer, and blockchain security researcher Max Sanchez — a pedigree that has helped the project attract attention as one of several competing efforts to bridge Bitcoin's security with Ethereum's smart-contract flexibility. LBank's campaign follows a familiar exchange playbook for newer tokens: pairing a listing with a tiered deposit-and-trade incentive designed to seed liquidity and trading volume in the token's early weeks, before organic demand is established on its own.
