Four of the market’s most closely watched tokens are sitting at technically important levels this week, with Solana, Hyperliquid and BNB all testing resistance zones that could determine whether the recent rebound has legs, while Shiba Inu continues to lag the broader recovery. The divergence highlights how uneven this stretch of the market has become even as majors like Bitcoin hold steady gains.
According to technical analysis published by U.Today, none of the four assets has yet produced a decisive breakout, leaving traders watching a handful of specific price levels for confirmation in either direction.
Solana Battles Its 200-Day Average
Solana is changing hands around $76.46, pressing against resistance at $78 to $79 with its 200-day moving average looming at $90.40. The token’s daily RSI sits near 55.6, broadly neutral, after recovering from a June low near $62 to $63. Support has formed at $74.83 and $75.38, with a deeper floor at $70 if the recovery stalls. The chart action comes as Solana’s long-awaited Alpenglow upgrade, aimed at delivering near-instant transaction finality, continues to underpin the network’s pitch to institutional users weighing it against faster layer-2 rivals.
Hyperliquid and BNB Show Firmer Footing
Hyperliquid trades at $54.54, below a cluster of resistance at $56.73 and $57.30, with its RSI reading of 42.5 sitting below the neutral midpoint. Even so, a rising 200-day average at $50.69 has kept the correction from June and July highs of $72 to $76 from turning into a confirmed downtrend. The token’s deflationary burn mechanism and growing share of decentralized perpetuals revenue have kept it on analysts’ shortlists despite the pullback.
BNB is the strongest of the four on the charts, trading at $603.92 just above a moving-average cluster at $602 to $604, with RSI at 64.4 — comfortably above its signal line but still shy of overbought territory near 70. A series of higher lows since July has traders watching for a confirmed close above $602 to open the door toward $620 and, eventually, the 200-day average at $646.66.
Shiba Inu Stuck Below Its Moving Averages
Shiba Inu is the outlier, trading at $0.00000462 and still capped by resistance at $0.000005, with its 200-day average all the way up at $0.00000588. A neutral RSI near 56 suggests buyers haven’t yet built the momentum needed to challenge that ceiling, and support in the $0.00000446 to $0.00000464 zone will need to hold to prevent a retest of July’s consolidation range near $0.0000042.

Taken together, the charts point to a market still sorting out which tokens have genuine momentum behind their recent gains and which are simply drifting with broader sentiment. With BNB and Solana both approaching decision points against their longer-term averages, the next few sessions could clarify whether August turns into a genuine altcoin recovery or another false start.
