Wallets linked to the Trump team pulled roughly $3.39 million in USDC from TRUMP token liquidity pools over a 10-hour window as the token rallied, according to Lookonchain, which tracked the flow moving into a Solana account before onward transfers. Coin Bureau corroborated the same figure, confirming the team sold TRUMP and received 3.39 million USDC in the process.

The mechanism behind the sale is more indirect than a simple market dump: the team deposits only TRUMP tokens into single-sided liquidity positions on Solana decentralized exchange Meteora. As other traders swap within a set price range, the pool automatically converts a portion of that TRUMP into USDC, which the team then withdraws and bridges toward centralized exchanges such as Coinbase.

Part of a longer pattern, not a one-off

This withdrawal extends a pattern that on-chain trackers have followed since April 2025, when the Trump-linked wallets first began systematically converting TRUMP holdings into stablecoins through this liquidity-pool structure rather than direct market sells. Over just the three weeks prior to this latest withdrawal, the same wallets reportedly cashed out roughly $94 million in USDC through the identical mechanism, a scale that dwarfs this single 10-hour flow but follows the same operational playbook.

The timing — withdrawing into strength rather than weakness — is consistent with prior withdrawals, which have tended to cluster around price rallies rather than dips, suggesting a systematic monetization strategy tied to market conditions rather than opportunistic panic selling.

The other side of the ledger

The scale of cumulative extraction stands in sharp contrast to the token's retail holder base: blockchain data has shown close to one million investors carrying a combined $3.81 billion in losses on TRUMP through June 2026, a gap between insider monetization and retail outcomes that has made the token a recurring case study in on-chain transparency reporting. For holders and prospective buyers, the persistence of these withdrawals — now well over a year running — is the kind of on-chain signal that tends to get cited whenever the token's price shows renewed momentum.
