Crypto exchange WEEX has opened a two-week promotional campaign aimed at traders of traditional-finance assets, running from July 27 through August 10, 2026. The TradFi Trading Fest centers on futures contracts tied to gold, oil and stocks, letting users trade these instruments on the exchange's platform alongside its usual crypto offerings.
The campaign's headline draw is a 50,000 USDT prize pool set aside exclusively for participants trading TradFi futures products during the two-week window. WEEX is pairing that pool with several smaller incentives designed to lower the barrier for newcomers testing out the exchange's TradFi futures desk for the first time.
What the Fest Includes
According to WEEX, the event bundles four components: rewards specifically for new users signing up during the campaign, a first-trade protection mechanism intended to soften the impact of an early loss, zero-slippage execution on eligible TradFi futures trades, and a series of lucky-draw giveaways running throughout the fest.
Zero-slippage execution is the most technical of the four features, and it speaks to a persistent complaint among futures traders on crypto-native platforms — that fills on volatile assets like oil or gold can land meaningfully away from the quoted price during fast markets. By guaranteeing execution at the displayed price for eligible trades, WEEX is positioning the fest as a pitch for traders who have historically stuck to traditional brokers for these products.
Part of a Broader Push Into TradFi Assets
The campaign fits into a wider trend of crypto exchanges expanding beyond digital assets into tokenized or derivative exposure to stocks, commodities and other traditional markets, competing for volume from traders who want single-platform access to both crypto and legacy asset classes. WEEX has framed the TradFi Trading Fest as an on-ramp for that audience, betting that free-to-enter incentives like the USDT prize pool and first-trade protection will convert sign-ups into recurring futures volume once the two-week promotion ends.
