AEON, a token positioning itself as a settlement layer for AI-agent payments, expanded to two more major exchanges this week, going live on both Bitget and Gate within the same trading window on July 27, 2026.

On Bitget, deposits for AEON opened ahead of trading, with the AEON/USDT pair going live at 11:00 UTC, withdrawals enabled the following day at 12:00 UTC, and a Simple Earn subscription option activated an hour after trading began. Bitget's listing announcement described AEON as building "a universal crypto settlement layer that lets both users and AI agents pay real-world merchants," operating through a unified node network intended to enable seamless payments across both on-chain and off-chain environments. The token's contract is deployed on BNB Smart Chain.

Futures, Airdrop and Trading Incentives on Bitget

Bitget paired the spot listing with a same-day AEON/USDT futures market offering up to 20x leverage and trading bot support. The exchange also launched two incentive programs tied to the listing: a PoolX offering where users can lock BGB and AEON tokens to share a pool of 1,166,666 AEON tokens, and a CandyBomb futures trading contest running from July 27 to August 3, 2026, distributing a separate 166,666 AEON to eligible traders.

Combined, the campaigns give Bitget users multiple ways to earn AEON beyond simply buying it on the spot market, a structure exchanges commonly use to build early trading volume and token distribution around a new listing.

A Parallel Listing on Gate

Gate listed AEON on the same day, with its AEON/USDT trading pair opening at 11:00 AM UTC and a zero-fee conversion window between USDT and AEON activating an hour later, at 12:00 PM UTC. The near-identical timing across Bitget and Gate suggests a coordinated multi-exchange launch strategy for the token.

Following an Earlier KuCoin Debut

AEON's expansion to Bitget and Gate comes after the token previously debuted on KuCoin, where it was positioned around the same AI-agent payments narrative. The rapid sequence of listings across three major exchanges within a short window points to an aggressive distribution push for the project as it seeks liquidity and trading volume across multiple platforms simultaneously.
