Binance Futures has rolled out a new copy-trading feature called Smart Money Signal Auto-Copy, allowing users to automatically mirror the USDT-M futures trades of top-performing traders on the platform. Once a user selects a trader to follow and enables the copy function, that trader's positions are replicated to the user's own account in real time.
The feature is designed to lower the barrier to entry for futures trading strategies that would otherwise require active monitoring. According to Binance, users can begin auto-copying trades with as little as 10 USDT, making the tool accessible to smaller accounts rather than just high-balance traders.
How Auto-Copy Works
The mechanism centers on real-time execution: when a followed trader opens or adjusts a USDT-M futures position, the same action is mirrored into the follower's account without requiring manual input. This differs from traditional copy-trading tools that can lag behind the original trade, since Binance is emphasizing speed of execution as a core selling point of the new feature.
Part of a Broader Push Into Social Trading
The launch fits into a wider trend among major exchanges toward social and copy-trading products, which aim to let less experienced traders benefit from the strategies of proven performers while giving skilled traders an additional revenue stream through follower activity. By setting the minimum entry at 10 USDT, Binance is positioning Smart Money Signal Auto-Copy as a low-friction on-ramp into futures trading for users who might otherwise avoid derivatives altogether.
