Bitrue has opened a new trading competition called the Buy & Earn Challenge, offering participants a share of a 10,000 USDT prize pool for building positions across the exchange's spot and ETF trading pairs. The campaign is structured around accumulation rather than short-term flipping: users earn their share of the pool by buying and holding a position, rather than through trade volume or frequency alone.
According to Bitrue, participants join by trading any available spot or ETF pair on the platform and building their position through purchases, with rewards calculated based on the size of the position established during the challenge window.
Part of a Broader Push Into ETF-Style Products
The inclusion of ETF pairs alongside standard spot markets reflects Bitrue's continued expansion into tokenized and leveraged ETF-style products, a category several mid-sized exchanges have built out over the past year as a way to offer equity-like exposure without requiring users to hold the underlying asset directly — a trend also visible in larger competitors' recent tokenized-equity expansions.

Trading competitions tied to a fixed prize pool are a standard customer-engagement tool across centralized exchanges, typically used to boost activity on newer product lines or during periods of softer trading volume. By tying rewards to position size rather than trade count, Bitrue's structure appears designed to encourage sustained buying rather than rapid in-and-out trading that could otherwise be used to game a volume-based leaderboard.
The exchange has run similar accumulation-style campaigns before, layering promotional incentives on top of its core spot and derivatives offerings as competition among mid-tier exchanges for user deposits and trading activity has intensified.
