Bybit has launched three new tokenized perpetual contracts tracking Berkshire Hathaway, PayPal, and Mastercard shares, the exchange announced, giving crypto traders synthetic exposure to the stock price movements of the three companies without requiring a traditional brokerage account.

The new contracts — listed under the tickers BRKBUSDT, PYPLUSDT, and MAUSDT — trade alongside Bybit's existing lineup of tokenized equity perpetuals, which the exchange has been steadily expanding under its "New Financial Platform" push to blend traditional-market exposure with crypto-native trading infrastructure.

Part of a Broader Push Into Tokenized Equities

The Berkshire, PayPal, and Mastercard listings follow a pattern Bybit has repeated across several rounds of tokenized stock perpetuals this year, adding well-known consumer and financial names to a product category that lets traders take leveraged, 24/7 positions on stock price action using the same accounts and collateral they use for crypto trading.

Berkshire Hathaway's inclusion is notable given the conglomerate's size and Warren Buffett's outsized influence on markets, while PayPal and Mastercard bring payments-sector exposure to a product suite that has so far leaned heavily on mega-cap technology and consumer names.

Crypto Exchanges Race to Bundle Stock Exposure

Bybit is not alone in pursuing this strategy. Rival exchanges have rolled out similar tokenized perpetual products tied to household-name stocks in recent weeks, part of an industry-wide bet that traders want to manage both crypto and equity exposure from a single platform. For Bybit, adding Berkshire, PayPal, and Mastercard extends that lineup further into blue-chip territory, betting that demand for round-the-clock stock trading will keep growing alongside its core crypto derivatives business.
